Boomerang Bags

Coming soon to Gloucester

The Gloucester community have been sewing up a storm in preparation for the launch of Boomerang Bags in June. Stop by the ‘Reuse-Recycle’ information stall at the May Market and find out about this great initiative and how you can be involved.

Boomerang Bags works to reduce the use of plastic bags by engaging local communities in the making of Boomerang Bags – community made using recycled materials, Boomerang Bags provide a free, fun, sustainable alternative to plastic bags.

The Boomerang Bag sewing bees are held on the 2nd & 3rd Fridays each month at Gloucester School Arts rooms (above the Gallery) 9am to 3pm – for more details contact Peta Tynan 0427 200 575.
