A message from the Event Organisers…
In a time of uncertainty and vulnerability, everyone’s health and wellbeing is absolutely paramount. While Farmer’s Markets are still currently deemed an “essential event” by the government, we are not prepared to put anyone’s health at risk therefore the Easter Farmers Market on Saturday 11th April are cancelled. All upcoming dates are on hold and will be reviewed on a monthly basis until further notice. Please check our Facebook page for updates.
It hurt our hearts to take this away from our incredible stallholders…first the drought, then the bushfires and now this. When it’s safe to do so, and life somehow starts to resemble its old (or new) self again…PLEASE, PLEASE support farmers and producers and events like your local Farmers Markets. Their livelihoods began suffering a long time before this pandemic reared its ugly head.
Please play your part where you can…stay home, stop the spread, save lives. Ernest Hemingway once said that “the world breaks everyone, and afterward some are strong at the broken places”. We will be here as a farming community to support each other, to help heal and rebuild those broken places ♥
